I’m for waiting till I watch the pilot before I judge. An asian female Watson sounds awesome. It would be even better if Sherlock was a woman too, but that is obviously too awesome for TV.
I can see why casting a female Watson and a male Sherlock can be seen as problematic, but some of the comments I’ve seen… you don’t fight homophobia with misogyny and racism.
