Can we all just appreciate the fact that there was a Power Puff Girls reference in a Batgirl (Cass’ run) issue. Plus it was an issue in which Barbara and Steph worked together to protect Cass. Red, blonde and black haired heroines working together to take the bad guys down.

HeroClix: Here’s Your Batgirl, Inc.

dcwomenkickingass:

I’ve said before that Wizkid’s HeroClix is my favorite DCU right now and here’s another reason. We may never see a team-up of all three Batgirl’s in comics beyond the panel below in Batgirl vol. 2 #24 and numerous pieces of commissioned and fan art.

But now you can have it playing HeroClix which unveiled today it’s newest piece:

And with their previous unveiling of BabsGirl and BlackBat, you can have all three (and if you are a real stickler you can order a Cass as Batgirl)!

And can I just say the fact that Stephanie’s character has Electro-Magna-Gooperangs makes me so happy? Hey, I just did!

i need these

where can I get them

Just posting three of the greatest ladies in all of comics.
Again.
Because some people STILL like to pretend that TWO of them don’t exist.

Dear Young Justice,

thedefinitionofdk:

Can I please, please, PLEASE, have an episode with ALL THREE major Batgirls (Barbara, Cass and Steph) working together to solve a case? I don’t care how it happens (clones, time travel, alternate universe hopping) just MAKE IT HAPPEN.

One of the more frequent supporting statements I see in regards to Babs depowering from Oracle to Batgirl was ‘Well she was so powerful as Oracle, she had nowhere to go etc. etc.’

Which lead me to thinking, how awesome would a ‘Team Batgirl’ reboot book have been? You could have had Barbara Gordon, having just survived a life-changing fight with Lady Shiva teaming up with her newly acquired protege, Cass Cain and Robin, Stephanie Brown to track her down and bring her to justice where she failed alone.

Realising they make a pretty darn good team, Stephanie passes the Robin mantle on to Damian Wayne, needing greater independence from the Batman to become ‘Batgirl’. Cass becomes ‘The Bat’, finally finding a way to express her philosophy towards killing and justice and admiration for the Bat. Barbara comes to the realisation that she was even better in her information support role than as Batgirl, becomes Oracle, information source for the Batfamily and key member of ‘Team Batgirl’.

Babs is just coming in to her role as Oracle - she isn’t perfect, she doesn’t always cover all her tracks hacking in, when she can at all. More than once Steph and Cass have had to smash up servers at the bad guys’ hang out so it can’t be traced back to the Watchtower. She also has to deal with the occasional PTSD and panic attack, especially when Lady Shiva returns to confront her daughter. However, as the villains go down and her hacking skills grow so does her confidence (along with awesome upper body strength!)

Cass can’t speak or read yet - having been brought up the way she has, she can interpret body language. However, being surrounded by the constant babbling of Steph and the calm influence of Babs, she slowly comes to realise she has a new family (little, and broken, but good) and forms a good father/daughter relationship with Batman as well. After defeating Lady Shiva for the second time, she comes to terms with the fact that although she can’t always protect her family, she’s glad she has them now.

Stephanie initially mourns the passing of her mantle to Damian - it had been the perfect way to direct her rage at her father after his arrest by Batman and Robin II, a way to survive the adoption of her child, one of the last connections she had to her ex-boyfriend Red Robin now that he’s left and her primary driving force for the last three years. However, she comes to deal with the fact it’s a role she has outgrown and takes the opportunity to dive into her new identity with her typical gusto.

As time goes by and adventures are had, Steph and Cass now join the Teen Titans on the weekends, and Babs goes on to form the Birds of Prey whilst they’re away. Although things change and grow, with Steph staying on to mentor the Teen Titans and Cass and Babs joining the Justice League, they stay firm friends for life.

Clearly too many female characters in this. We know shows with three girls with different personalities and looks never sell.

Oh wait.
