The 100% TRUE events of my evening, in a nutshell.
Was going to work, might have wasted time drawing some Pitch as a warm up, was going to rewatch some Korra episodes, when suddenly David Bowie and news of his new album appeared.

I think…. it’s okay to post this now because it’s been like two months since the Legend of Korra art book was last updated? I don’t know if they’re still doing it or anything but I haven’t seen any update or reply from them.

Crossover LOLWUT
Green Lantern Korra and the Lantern Brothers. Spandex for everyone and JFDJJLKJLK I’m weird with painting non-flat. :U
But oh man if Mako, Bolin, Korra and the others were in this universe and story, imagine the dialogue and interaction FFFFFF
GLTAS crew as benders in Avatar universe. Everyone would get an Avatarverse name haha. I would think that instead of being an A.I., Aya would be an Earth Spirit (kind of like Haku from Spirited Away)? Then she takes a corporeal human form to help aid the benders? Razer would be a Fire Nation army deserter. Ahhh so much potential.
I just have too many feelings about both shows.

Lin Beifong was a woman who wanted nothing of her title as a lady. She always wanted to build herself a reputation on her own name and not just her family’s name. Lin Beifong never took kindly to being called a lady. However, when this messy haired, pudgy boy smiled his crooked little teeth at her, her heart couldn’t help but feel a little lighter at his sincerity and innocence.

I don’t actually get why this was such a bad thing for him to say. Yeah, it’s a bit naive but he’s got a point. Korra isn’t completely bending-less. If anything, shouldn’t this have been the little ray of hope she had? It’s like Bolin get’s picked on for just trying to get screen-time.
Mako’s just like ‘NO BOLIN, I AM THE SEXY OLDER BROTHER AND I GET ALL THE SCREEN TIMEZ BECAUSE I’M THE LOVE INTEREST. GO BACK TO YOUR UNDER-DEVELOPED BALL AND STAND IN MY SHADOW.’
Poor Bo. He’s just trying to be useful.
